Bathrooms really make or break a place when it comes to me giving them money. If an establishment is off the chain with their services and their bathroom is weak, I can still hang. I might go somewhere JUST for the bathrooms - no seriously. One of the reasons I wanted to go to Cream was to check out their bathrooms. I'd say its worth it. :) The windows to the individual unisex stalls are clear, but when you go in and lock the door they fog up behind you! So tight, creepy, but tight.
But if a place is on the edge AND their bathrooms aren't up to par (old, boring, messy, smelly, neglected), well, it's tight on them...
Some of those urnals almost made me want a penis. Only for 1/18 of a sec though.
BEST bathrooms in MPLS:
Cream
Caterpillar Bar
Fuji Ya
Palaminos
El Mason
Macy's Skyroom
Common Roots (for the free tampons, ladies)
Diamonds Coffee Shop
WORST bathrooms in MPLS (aka places I'd rather just hold it):
7th St Entry (probably the absolute worst - especially around 12:00am during a show)
Dinkytowner
Probably all the strip clubs (does the 418 still pop, I don't think so).
Victors 1959 Cafe - sorry, but you know that thang needs an upgrade
The Caboose
Kwanzaa Community Church - my job, yo. They know it though. The ceiling almost touches your head when you on the throne and someone found a big ass rat in the toilet last month. I'd say that's worth a trip to the McDonalds across the street for #2s.
